Vālenz® Health Names Chris Harber as New Chief Operating Officer
PHOENIX, Ariz. (October 20, 2023) — Vālenz® Health proudly announces the appointment of Chris Harber as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Harber officially joins the company on October 23, 2023.
Harber comes to Valenz from Amwell, one of the world’s largest telehealth companies, with a platform that enables health plans, providers and innovators to achieve their digital ambitions and deliver hybrid care that interweaves in-person, automated and virtual care. As Senior Vice President and General Manager, Harber oversaw Amwell’s clinical services business and was instrumental in driving key advances in member access and experience.
In his role as COO and a member of the Valenz executive team, Harber will build scalable systems, align processes and procedures with highly complex and changing industry regulations, and ensure implementation of the necessary operational controls to drive sustainable business growth.

Harber’s health tech experience includes senior executive positions with Availity and TriZetto Provider Solutions. With a degree in finance from the University of Kansas, Harber lives with his family in St. Louis.
