Vālenz® Health Names TJ Morrison as Senior Vice President, Innovation
PHOENIX, Ariz. (Feb. 2, 2024) — Vālenz® Health is pleased to announce that TJ Morrison has been named to a newly created executive position as Senior Vice President, Innovation.
Morrison first joined Valenz in September 2023 as Senior Vice President, Strategy, following the company’s acquisition of KISx Card, LLC. In his new role, he will steer the company’s product lifecycle management, from vision and innovation to development and marketing. Working closely with the marketing, sales and operations teams, he will lead the way in crafting products and services that bolster customer retention and align with the firm’s long-term strategic objectives.

For more than 15 years, Morrison has driven new solutions that pave the way for self-funded employers to control claim costs. Drawing from his deep experience with brokerages and TPAs, he founded KISx Card in 2016 to deliver bundled transparent pricing to local employers, and under his leadership it became one of the nation’s largest direct-contracting surgery and imaging networks. Morrison also previously held executive and management roles with Benefit Design Specialists, Inc.
